At a meeting in the Cabinet Room on Friday, November 22, President Donald J. Trump held a listening session on Youth Vaping and the Electronic Cigarette Epidemic. Attending the meeting were government officials, representatives of health organizations, and industry representatives.
During the meeting, participants discussed the problem of young people becoming addicted to vaping, the use of vaping as a way to wean adults off smoking cigarettes, regulatory solutions (age restrictions, banning of flavors, etc.), and illegal manufacturing/counterfeit products.
