New Knowledge Adventures (NKA), an educational organization enjoyed by Idahoans 50 years of age and older who wish to stimulate their thinking and expand their knowledge, has issued their Spring, 2020 catalog.  The catalog lists well over 100 classes, lectures, and gatherings available beginning January 13, and continuing through May 28 (some trips occurring later in the year).

Classes and programs fall into ten categories:

Art, Music & Theatre – (From Music Lessons to Symphony and Theatre Previews)

Crafts & Hobbies – (From Origami and Painting to Glass Etching and Woodworking)

Fitness & Motion – (From Dancing and Zumba to Golf and Hiking)

Food & Beverage – (From Brewing Better Coffee to Wine Pairings at Local Restaurants)

Games – (From Bridge and Pinochle to Mahjong and Scrabble)

General Interest – (Lectures, Presentations, Tours, and Informational Meetings)

Health & Wellness – (From Nutrition to Mindfulness)

History – (Local, U.S., and the World)

Nature, Science, & Technology – (From Astronomy to 3D Printing)

Travel & Field Trips – (From Hogle Zoo to Bryce Canyon National Park)

Writing & Literature – (From Book Groups to Creative Writing)

The cost to join NKA is only $40 a semester.  Dates for classes follow the ISU calendar: September to December for the fall semester and January to May for the spring semester.
