The Pocatello City Council will hold a work session on January 9, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, 911 N. 7th Avenue. Items on the agenda include updates from United Way of Southeastern Idaho (United Way), Regional Economic Development of Eastern Idaho (REDI), and Zoo Idaho.
United Way representatives are scheduled to give an update on their activities and the Cradle to Career program. Also, according to the agenda, “Teresa McKnight, Chief Executive Officer, Regional Economic Development of Eastern Idaho (REDI) will be present to give Council an update of REDI’s activities and achievements.” In addition, “Zoo Idaho staff and Zoo Idaho Zoological Society representatives will be present to review proposed terms and conditions for a potential donation agreement with Connections Credit Union which would provide resources needed to construct the Zoo Idaho Entrance Building.”

Immediately following the work session, Council members are scheduled to participate in an executive session to discuss issues with legal counsel and a representative of the agency’s risk manager or insurance provider.
