Are you one of the many grandparents who’ve witnessed their grandchildren struggle in math? If so, New Knowledge Adventures (NKA) has just the lecture for you.
This Thursday, January 16, at 10:00 in Liberty Hall, John Crowder, Owner of Crowder Education and the Publisher of the Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer will be presenting the lecture, “Help Your Grandkids Succeed in Math.”
Crowder has two decades of teaching experience and owned and operated a private school in California for fourteen years. His lecture will cover why so many children seem to be struggling with math these days and what you can do to help them become successful.
Crowder says, “Math isn’t hard, if taught in a common sense, practical way. We’ve known how to teach math for a long time, but, unfortunately, tried and true methods that have worked for generations are frequently discarded in favor of the “new,” meaning, more complicated.”
