Today, February 24, 2020, President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were welcomed by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and well over 100,000 Indian citizens on the President’s first visit to the country.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived in Ahmedabad aboard Air Force One, where they were greeted by Modi.  From there, they traveled to Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad where the delegates paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi.  Tens of thousands of people lined the streets, welcoming the President and First Lady.

The President then proceeded with Modi to the largest cricket stadium in the world, where he and Modi addressed well over 100,000 people in attendance.
