Multiple news outlets, including Fox News, USA Today, National Public Radio (NPR) and more are reporting that former South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg has cancelled a planned rally for tonight in Texas and is instead returning to his home state where he is expected to suspend his campaign for the Democratic Party nomination for President.
Buttigieg came in 4th place in Saturday’s South Carolina primary, garnering only 8.25% of the vote.

In the talk, Buttigieg says, “”I am making the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for the presidency. I will no longer seek to be the 2020 Democratic nominee for president, but I will do everything in my power to ensure that we have a new Democratic president come January.”
