Idaho WIC helps families by providing:

  • Checks to buy healthy supplemental foods from local grocery stores (authorized WIC vendors)
  • Nutrition education
  • Help finding healthcare and other community services
  • Breastfeeding information and support and breast pumps in some cases

You may qualify for WIC benefits if you are a resident of Idaho, meet income guidelines, are a woman who is pregnant or has just given birth, or have an infant or a child under 5 years old, or are the father, guardian or foster parent of an eligible infant or child.

If you feel you qualify, contact the nearest WIC office to schedule an appointment.

WIC allows you to obtain, at no cost, nutritious food items such as milk, cheese, beans or lentils, rice, baby food, cereal, fresh fruits and vegetables, and more.
