Mayor Brian Blad’s newsletter for the month of April has been posted on the City of Pocatello website.

In this month’s newsletter, Mayor Blad addresses how the City is responding to the coronavirus pandemic, and asks residents to get news on the situation from reputable sources, including Southeastern Idaho Public Health.  Mayor Blad says, ” We continue to coordinate with the federal government and State of Idaho, specifically with Southeastern Idaho Public Health.  They are the agency in charge when large-scale health emergencies happen in Idaho.  They have the factual, scientific data.”

Also in the newsletter, Mayor Blad notes that Marshall Public Library will be celebrating National Poetry Month through the month of April. “Starting now, poets and prose writers of all ages are encouraged to submit their best work for inclusion on the Library’s Poetry Wall,” he says.

In another article, the Mayor says, “Many of you have been asking me to include an article about barking dogs.”  This article outlines the policies of the City of Pocatello with respect to barking dogs.
