Portneuf Valley Partners (formerly Valley Pride), an organization that promotes beautification projects in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area,  is undertaking an exciting project at the intersection of Garrett Way and Alameda Road where a large traffic island is being beautified.  This is an “11th hour” request, but if you like to plant things and have a bit of spare time this afternoon between the hours of 3-6 pm, the group could use some volunteers to put in about 150 plants (ornamental grasses, perennial flowers, shrubs, small trees, etc).

If you are interested in helping, please contact David Maguire at maguire@maguirelaw.us  or Mark Dahlquist at mdahlquist@nwpocatello.org.
