The Idaho Republican Party elected new leaders at their convention held in Nampa from June 25-27.  Tom Luna, who served as Idaho’s Superintendent of Public Instruction from 2006 to 2014, was elected the Idaho GOP State Party Chairman, winning a close race (274-262) against Bonneville County Republican Central Committee Chair Mark Fuller.

Others elected to leadership roles with the Idaho Republican Party were:

1st Vice Chair – Machele Hamilton
2nd Vice Chair- Mike Matthews
Secretary – Marla Lawson (reelected)
Treasurer – Stephen Parrott (reelected)
National Committeeman – Damond Watkins (reelected)
National Committeewoman – Cindy Siddoway (reelected)
