Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad’s September newsletter has been posted on the City’s website.

In this issue of the newsletter, Mayor Blad addresses the wearing of face coverings.  He notes that he recently issued a proclamation, and the City Council issued a resolution, asking people to wear a face covering.

Blad said, “Masks aren’t to protect you.  They’re to protect all those you come in contact with, especially those who are among the most vulnerable in our community.  As I’ve said before, you don’t wear a face covering for you.  You wear one for the grandma with diabetes, the dad with high blood pressure, the child with asthma and those battling
cancer.”

Other articles include a message from SIPH, a discussion of school safety zones, and information about recycling rules.
