September 7, 2020
The City of Pocatello has posted the City’s Road Closure and Traffic Report for the week of September 7, 2020. From Tuesday, September 8, through Thursday, September 10, street milling (removing part of the street surface for recycling, then repaving the street) will result in road closures and parking restrictions. The Street Operations Department plans on paving following the milling if time allows. The City states, “No parking will be allowed on the street from 6:30 am until work is completed that day. Construction will require closing the road as work is performed. Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area and to use alternate routes.”
Street milling is scheduled for the following streets:
o W Bonneville St from S Lincoln St to the S Lincoln Alley
o W Lewis St from the S Lincoln St to EOP W
o S Lincoln St from W Clark St to appx. 200 ft. past W Whitman St.
o W Center St from river to EOP W
Other street operations planned for the week include sweeping and pavement marking, while the Water Department plans on replacing water main lines and the Water Pollution Control Department will be jetting sewer lines.
