Sons of AMVETS, Idaho Post 1, recently welcomed two new lifetime members, local attorney Dustin Manwaring and Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer Publisher John Crowder.

Manwaring, a Pocatello attorney and current candidate for Idaho State Representative said, “I am happy to support AMVETS and become a lifetime member.  AMVETS main goal is to provide the best care and assistance to veterans in need.  This includes buying clothing for hospitalized veterans and helping older veterans visit Washington D.C. to see their memorials.  I appreciate those who gave the best years of their lives in service to all Americans.  Thanks AMVETS Idaho Post 1!”

Crowder, publisher of the Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer, said, “I’m very happy to be a part of the AMVETS family.  In particular, I’m excited to be a part of an organization that encourages patriotism with our youth through the annual AMVETS Americanism contest.”
