The City of Pocatello has released the following Road Closure and Traffic Report for the week of October 9, 2020:

STREET OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT

SWEEPING

o Monday: North End
o Tuesday: East Side
o Wednesday: Fairway
o Thursday: West Side

CRACK SEALING

Street Operations will be performing crack sealing throughout the city this week.  Treatment will require intermittent lane closures and possible temporary road closures as work is performed.  Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area.

PAVEMENT MARKINGS

Street Operations Department will continue refreshing crosswalks and pavement markings
this week.  There will be intermittent lane closures while crews are painting.  Drivers are
advised to watch for traffic control to stay safe and avoid driving through fresh paint.
Please expect delays while work is being done.

WATER DEPARTMENT

WATER POLLUTION CONTROL

JETTING SEWER LINES

Crews will be jetting sewer lines throughout the city.  Motorists may experience delays or lane closures while crews are performing the work.

IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

Beginning Tuesday, October 13th, roadwork will begin on East Alameda Road, between
Yellowstone Avenue and Warren Avenue.  There will be daily lane closures while work is being performed.  Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area.  Work is expected to take approximately 3 to 4 days to complete.

CONTRACTORS

JT Holm Construction is replacing a sewer line alongside the roadway on Johnny Creek Road, south of Wild Mountain Drive.  Work is expected to be completed this week.  Please use caution while driving in the area.  Contact is Jason Holm, 208‐243‐4650.

PORTNEUF VALLEY FARMERS MARKET

Old Town Pocatello is hosting the “Portneuf Valley Farmers Market” every Saturday beginning May 9 through October 31, 2019.  The event is located at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St.  The Market is open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm from May through October.  Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area.
