Mollie Hemingway, Senior Editor at the Federalist, has made the case that President Donald J. Trump’s greatest accomplishment is resisting the pressure to seize more government control in a time of crisis. Writing for the publication, she argues that, “Under immense pressure by the media and other Democratic operatives, at a time when nearly all global leaders were using the pandemic as an excuse to seize greater control, Trump did not.”
Hemingway points to other things Trump did not do during his presidency as evidence of his respect for the U. S. Constitution, including not sending in the military to quell riots, not launching another war, and not ignoring his campaign promises.
Hemingway makes a compelling case that Trump’s presidency has been uniquely positive for America not only for all that he has accomplished, but what he’s resisted doing. To read Hemingway’s article, visit: https://thefederalist.com/2020/10/21/trumps-greatest-accomplishments-are-what-he-hasnt-done/
