October 27, 2020
The deadline to sign up for assistance under the Salvation Army Pocatello’s Angel Tree Program, which offers Christmas assistance to families in need, is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28.
The annual program offers help to families that are struggling financially, allowing them to have the chance to celebrate Christmas. As stated on the Salvation Army website:
“Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.”
Families who are interested in the program can sign up tomorrow at the Pocatello Salvation Army, 400 N. 4th Avenue. Sign up times are from 10:00 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
