For their monthly pancake breakfast in December, AMVETS Idaho Post 1 in Pocatello is partnering with the Marine Corps League in support of the Toys for Tots program.
Due to the recently upgraded COVID restrictions, the groups have changed the usual format to a “drive-thru” event. It will take place on Saturday, December 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N. Johnson Avenue, in Pocatello.
The breakfast costs only $5.00 per person. Bring an unwrapped new toy to donate and receive one free breakfast!
On their Facebook page, AMVETS posts, “Despite STAGE 2 canceling our regular Pancake Breakfast, the Marine Corps League and AMVETS want to try and raise more toy for Toys For Tots
Due to COVID 19, there are probably some kids out there who may not have a Christmas at all. So let’s do what we can.
Please plan to “Drive Thru” on Dec 12, 8am-11am at the Bannock County Veterans Building and get your breakfast!”
