Two members of the Chubbuck Police Department, Sgt. Shane Manning and Emergency Communications Supervisor Lynnette Smith, recently earned Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certificates.  According to POST, achieving certification brings with it the recognition that “those possessing POST certification adhere to the highest standards of personal and professional conduct.”

Sgt. Manning earned the Idaho POST Advanced Certificate.  The Chubbuck Police Department recognized his achievement on their Facebook page, saying, “Congratulations to Sgt. Shane Manning who recently earned his Idaho POST Advanced Certificate after meeting the requirements set forth by the Idaho POST Council.  We appreciate Sgt. Manning’s commitment to our community and his dedication to serving others, thank you for all you do!

Emergency Communications Supervisor Lynnette Smith earned the Idaho POST Supervisor Emergency Communications certificate.  The Chubbuck Police Department recognized her achievement on their Facebook page, saying, “Congratulations to our Emergency Communications Supervisor Lynnette Smith on receiving her Idaho POST Supervisor Emergency Communications certificate!  Lynnette has served in our Communications Center for almost 20 years and her dedication to public safety is greatly appreciated!  Thanks for all you do keeping our community and our first responders safe!!”
