Are you a new parent, or expecting a child?  Having your first child can be an exciting time, but it can also cause anxiety.  You might wonder whether you’re ready for the responsibility, and have many questions.

Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center can help alleviate those natural worries.  The Center offers their Life Steps Program to answer your questions and help you prepare for the big day when you take your newborn home.

Life Steps is an educational, incentivized, mentoring program in which you meet one to one on a weekly basis with a trained mentor.  They will develop a lesson plan tailored to your needs at your first meeting.  Completing assignments and attending classes also allows you to earn “Baby Bucks,” which can be exchanged for items in their on-site store ranging from maternity clothes and baby onesies to car seats and strollers.

A multitude of topics may be covered in the classes, a few of which are:

  • Adoption Information
  • Budgeting
  • Breast Feeding
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Fetal Development
  • Post Partum Depression
  • Infant & Child Development

Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center is located at 845 S. 9th Avenue, Suite B, in Pocatello.  They can be reached at (208) 478-HOPE (4673).  Walk-ins are welcome.  Their hours are:
