Pastor Kirk Triplett, Faith Lutheran Church

Pocatello’s Faith Lutheran Church is teaching Youth Foundations, a class held Monday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for students from 5th to 12th grade.  Classes are taught by Pastor Kirk Triplett at Faith Lutheran Church, 856 W. Eldredge in Pocatello.  Classes began January 25, but students may join at any time.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.  There is no cost to participate.

Each class focuses on a foundational Biblical principle.  Topics covered in the series include:

  • Who is God?
  • What is sin?
  • How did sin enter the world?
  • What is man?
  • How is man impacted by sin?
  • Does God still love us?
  • Did God have a plan to deal with sin?
  • Who is Jesus Christ?
  • How can we be forgiven?
  • What did Jesus do to make us okay with God?
  • What is baptism?
  • Why is the Lord’s Supper important?
  • What does it mean to be part of God’s family?
  • What is the church?
  • What does the future hold for those who believe in Jesus?
  • What does it mean to be saved?
  • What is conversion?
  • Who is the Holy Spirit?
  • How does my faith impact the way I live?
