The annual Stossel in the Classroom student contests are now open.

The theme for this years competition is Private Frontier.  Students ages 12 to 18 may enter the essay contest, while students ages 14 to 23 may enter the video contest.  Both contests require the student to address a prompt focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation.  Essays must be between 500 and 1000 words and video submissions must be one to three minutes in length.

Entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, March 8, 2021.

Over $20,000 in cash prizes are available.  Essay winners receive prizes ranging from $50 for Honorable Mention to $2500 for first place.  Video winners receive prizes ranging from $200 for finalists to $2500 for first place in both the high school and college divisions.
