Today, Support Your Local Gems!

Idaho is on the way to rebounding from the coronavirus lockdown. Governor Brad Little recently announced a new website, rebound.idaho.gov, which provides information about our planned “Path to Prosperity.”
As part of the effort to reopen Idaho businesses, today has been designated to support local small business through the Support Your Local Gems initiative. People are asked to support small business by:
- Shopping local business over the phone or online;
- Buy a gift card for your favorite local shop;
- Order take-out, delivery, or get curbside service from your favorite local restaurant;
- Write a review online, post to social media, or simply say, “Thank you.”
Did you know that the Pocatello Chubbuck Observer is also a small business…one that serves the community with positive stories about all the fun events and happenings that take place year-round in the great cities of Pocatello and Chubbuck? You can support us, too, by:
- If you own a business, calling or emailing to discuss advertising with us;
- Buying an ad for a non-profit that you believe in;
- Liking us and sharing our articles on your Facebook or other social media page;
- Supporting our advertisers.
