Dear Editor,
A year ago I arrived at a local political gathering and heard David Worley speak for the first time. I was so impressed with his explanation of the role and responsibilities of local government that I reached out to him by phone. He very kindly took the time to give me a crash-course on how citizens can work together to improve their involvement in their government.
Since last fall, I have had several opportunities to talk with Mr. Worley informally or hear him speak publicly. He has shown himself to be a man who knows what he believes and has the character to stand by his principles, while also having sufficient humility to recognize that effective leaders understand the limits of their expertise. I believe that once elected, he will breathe new life into Pocatello’s government by considering all decisions in the light of his principles of Accountability and Transparency, Financial Responsibility, and Freedom.
We don’t need another four years of business as usual in Pocatello. We need Freedom for a Change. Vote for David Worley on November 2.
