Jr. Zookeeper Days are coming to Zoo Idaho on Saturdays in February.
The announcement of the events states, “Ever wonder what it’s like to be a zookeeper? Want to learn how to train animals? During this class for children ages 5–13, we will provide a glimpse into the life of a zookeeper. Includes live animal encounters, preparing animal diets, and animal training demos.”
Jr. Zookeeper events will take place from 10:00 a.m. to noon, meeting at the Zoo Idaho Education Building, 2900 S. 2nd Avenue in Pocatello. The cost to attend a session is $15 for members of the general public and $13 for Zoo Idaho Society Members.
