The second and final 2021 property tax payment is due on Monday, June 20, 2022. While many offices will be closed that day in honor of Juneteenth, the Bannock County Treasurer’s Office will remain open to receive tax payments.
The Bannock County Treasurer’s Office webpage lists the following payment options:
- Taxes paid by mail must be postmarked by June 20 to be considered on time.
- The community is encouraged to use the white, locked “dropbox” located on the corner of Center Street and 6th Avenue in Pocatello. (Dropbox is collected daily throughout the year and multiple times a day during tax seasons.)
- Staff in the Treasurer’s Office is available for in-person payments.
Late tax payments will be assessed a 2% late fee and 1% monthly interest.
