Boise, ID – Republican Attorney General Nominee Raúl Labrador is issuing this statement following the Biden Administration lawsuit announcement against Idaho:
“Today, the people of Idaho understand better than ever why we need a strong Attorney General who will stand up to the bullies in DC and defend Idaho’s duly enacted laws. Idaho respects life. Our Idaho elected officials have enacted strong pro-life laws to defend the rights of the unborn.
In filing this lawsuit, the Biden Administration seeks to replace the will of Idaho’s citizens with President Biden’s pro-abortion priorities. While the legal nuances of this case will play out in the courts, the essence of today’s action is that Biden seeks to dictate to the people of Idaho how our Legislature should write our own state laws. This should concern every citizen of this state and this nation.”
