Dr. Shanon Brooks, President of Monticello College in Utah, will join Patriots for Liberty and Constitution in their weekly book discussion on Monday evening, April 10. Dr. Brooks will lead a discussion of Booker T. Washington’s autobiography, “Up From Slavery,” and will also discuss the principles of the New Economy. The presentation will be held at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Ave., Pocatello.
The group’s Facebook event reads: “We have a special event on Monday, April 10, Dr. Shanon Brooks of Monticello College is a special guest to discuss Up From Slavery and The New Economy. This will be a very worthwhile event. Please come and bring your friends.”
Patriots for Liberty and Constitution meets at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello, every Monday at 6:30 p.m.
