Pocatello–Want to know more about your favorite zoo animals? Keepers will hold “Zookeeper Chats” every Saturday throughout the summer, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The City’s Calendar explains:
Hosted at the exhibits twice a day, zookeepers are available to tell you facts and stories about your favorite animals, often accompanied with a training demo.
In addition, this Saturday is free day at the Zoo, sponsored by Connections Credit Union. A free family BBQ will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Zoo Idaho is located at 2900 South 2nd Avenue in Pocatello. The zoo is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $6.50 for adults; $4.50 for children ages 3-11; and free for Zoo Society members and all children under age 3.
