Podcast host Joe Rogan is the latest American to be featured in the IFF’s ‘Pride in America’ series. After summarizing Rogan’s professional career as a martial artist, actor, and UFC commentator, author Brian Almon delves into the reasons why The Joe Rogan Experience has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world. He says, “Guests on Rogan’s show are given much more time to share their ideas, but Rogan also holds them accountable and presses them for answers to tough questions. It is exactly this transparency that has made his show so popular and why establishment media grew to hate him…Yet that is exactly why people love Joe Rogan…We need more Joe Rogans and fewer experts lecturing us from their ivory towers.”
On June 1, the Idaho Freedom Foundation launched a month-long ‘Pride in America’ series highlighting individuals “who ha[ve] demonstrated and defended American values.” So far, the series has recognized people as diverse as explorer Davy Crockett, entrepreneur Elon Musk, saleswoman Nancy Green, and athlete Riley Gaines.
