Wednesday, August 23rd, is the first Republican presidential primary debate which will be aired exclusively by FoxNews. David Rail (Snake River Event Center) subscribes to FoxNews and has offered to show the debate live at [this week’s] weekly meeting. We will NOT live stream the meeting.
Pizza will be served. There is no cost to attend but donations to help cover the costs of pizza are appreciated.
Apparently the following seven candidates say they have met the qualifications for a spot on stage, although Trump has said he will participate in the debate:
- Donald Trump (?)
- Ron DeSantis
- Tim Scott
- Nikki Haley
- Vivek Ramaswamy
- Chris Christie
- Doug Burgum
The political season is getting underway and it is important that we watch as many debates as possible, learn about the candidates, and make educated well-informed decisions at the ballot box.
