Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem
For the first time in half a century, the Jewish state is formally at war.

By:  Paul Guisande

As we are all aware at this time, tragically, Israel was viciously attacked without provocation by hundreds of Hamas Palestinian terrorists.  As they infiltrated Israel’s cities and towns, their brutal and vicious attack resulted in over 900 Israelis—men, women, and children—murdered, and many taken captive into Gaza.

As Israel and the Jewish people are suffering and attempting to navigate through this horrific event, can we come together and join hands in prayer?

What is beyond any doubt is the resolve of the Israeli people, the government, and the Israeli Defense Force to rise to this challenge. Over the next few weeks, Israeli soldiers will bravely battle against one of the most maniacal terrorist organizations in the world, on a par with ISIS. Israel will be victorious.

For decades, the Jewish state has attempted to establish peace through a two-state solution, only to have the Palestinians reject every effort.

The Palestinians have proven through decades of outrageous rhetoric that peace means the conquest of Israel “from the river to the sea.” They have walked away from globally endorsed negotiations from Madrid to Oslo, and have violated every negotiated ceasefire. Land-for-peace opportunities have been refused. Their vision of peace has always been the destruction of Israel.

May God lead and guide the Israeli government forces to a conclusion that effectively eliminates the possibility of this terrorist organization to ever actuate such an event again.  May peace come to Israel and to the region.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you. (Psalm 122:6, NKJV)
