The Chubbuck Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a subject who is potentially impersonating a Police Officer.
The subject in question is said to be driving a blacked out Ford Explorer, similar to a Police Vehicle. The vehicle has been further described as having red and white alternating lights, on the interior dash, and the subject has been conducting traffic stops in our local area.
The subject has been described as a light skinned, African American male, with a skinny build and a buzz cut hairstyle. He has further been described as being approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a short sleeved shirt, with a police style exterior vest. The vest is said to have police markings, including a badge.
The subject has also been described as carrying a firearm, extra magazines, handcuffs and a walkie talkie style radio. He is considered armed and dangerous at this time. Impersonating a Police Officer is a serious offense and our officers are working diligently to identify him.
