Mountain Valley Baptist Church invites the community to join them this Sunday, May 19, as they celebrate the 6th Anniversary of the founding of the church. Dr. Phil Clark, pastor of West Coast Baptist Church in Oceanside, CA, will bring a special message for the congregation. A children’s service is planned for children ages 4 to 12, and a nursery will be available for infants and toddlers.
In conjunction with the 6th Anniversary celebration, the church will be unveiling a newly updated lobby and sanctuary. The Observer had the opportunity to tour the building during the renovation process, and was impressed by the way the renovations were designed to meet the needs of a modern congregation while preserving the building’s historic style.
Mountain Valley Baptist Church is located at 202 S. 7th Ave, across from Caldwell Park. The service will begin at 11:00. Following the service, guests will be served a complimentary meal.
