Wednesday, July 3rd – Understanding Idaho’s ‘Water Wars’ – Movie Night, “The Conquest of the Snake”
Many of us are just becoming aware of the ‘water wars’ that are occurring in Idaho, especially east Idaho. The Conquest of the Snake is a documentary film about Southern Idaho’s Magic Valley, the Snake River, and how a group of determined people transformed the arid desert into an agricultural powerhouse. This documentary is a start in helping us understand some of the water issues Idaho is facing.
As always, attendance to our Town Halls is free but donations are greatly appreciated.
