Today, Monday, September 30, the group “Patriots for Liberty & Constitution” will be discussing Anti-Federalist Papers 34 and 35.
The group meets starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evenings at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello.
The event notes read, “Next Monday, we will be discussing Anti-Federalists 35 and 34. These are speeches given by George Mason and Patrick Henry. I want to ask a quick question: These papers are short. Why are they so short? George Mason and Patrick Henry were not known for giving short speeches.
With these two papers, we will close out the discussion of taxation and move to a new topic next week. With that, have fun reading.”
