ROLL CALL
HOUSING ALLIANCE AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS UPDATE
Representatives from the Housing Alliance and Community Partners (HACP) will discuss their goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.
POCATELLO ARTS COUNCIL UPDATE
Representatives from the Pocatello Arts Council will discuss the Committee’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations. (ACTION ITEM)
FIRE UNION QUARTERLY UPDATE
Members of the Pocatello Fire Union will give the Council an update of their activities.
POLICE UNION QUARTERLY UPDATE
Members of the Pocatello Police Union will give the Council an update of their activities.
WILD TURKEY POPULATION IN JOHNNY CREEK AREA UPDATE
Representatives from Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) will be in attendance to present an update to the Council regarding results of an exception to City Code which allowed IDFG to issue and administer permits allowing landowners and their designees, as identified on permits, to lethally remove turkeys in the Johnny Creek drainage area within City boundaries. (ACTION ITEM)
SIGN CODE UPDATES
Planning and Development Services staff members will be present to discuss the proposed repeal of Title 15.20: Sign Code and amendments to Title 17: Zoning Regulations. Council received public comments during a public hearing held at the September 5, 2024 Regular City Council meeting and Council provided feedback to staff at the September 12, 2024 Work Session. Council may wish to direct staff to prepare an ordinance for consideration at a future City Council meeting. (ACTION ITEM)
COUNCIL ADVISORY BOARD UPDATES
This time has been set aside for the Mayor and Council members to give an update regarding recent advisory board activities.
