A recent article from The Foreign Desk titled, “Microsoft Warns a Chinese Operation is Attempting to Influence U.S. Down Ballot Races” reports that Republican legislators have been targeted by Chinese bots.
The article states, “The bots are operated by the Chinese group Taizi Flood, which has been associated in the past with China’s Ministry of Public Security. They have targeted Alabama Rep. Barry Moore, Texas Rep. Michael McCaul, Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, all Republicans, Reuters reported.”
