The daughter of Pocatello’s only Medal of Honor recipient will arrive at Pocatello Regional Airport tonight, Friday, November 1, at 4:30 p.m. in advance of a ceremony to be held tomorrow.

Bannock County residents are planning to meet at the airport this evening to welcome Stephanie McKay Johnson, the daughter of Sgt. James E. Johnson.

A Medal of Honor ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 2, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N. Johnson Avenue in Pocatello.

The public is invited to join the welcome reception at the airport and the Medal of Honor ceremony on Saturday.
