President-elect Donald J. Trump continues to appoint individuals to his administration’s leadership team. Previous appointments were covered here: Trump Administration: Major Appointments as of November 14, 2024 | Observer News Group
Appointments announced since November 14 include:
Steven Cheung will return to the White House as Assistant to the President and Director of Communications.
Sergio Gor will serve as Assistant to the President and Director of the Presidential Personnel Office.
Doug Burgum, the Governor of North Dakota, will be joining my Administration as both Secretary of the Interior and, as Chairman of the newly formed, and very important, National Energy Council, which will consist of all Departments and Agencies involved in the permitting, production, generation, distribution, regulation, transportation, of ALL forms of American Energy.
Karoline Leavitt will serve as White House Press Secretary.
William Owen Scharf will serve as Assistant to the President and White House Staff Secretary.
Chris Wright will be joining my Administration as both United States Secretary of Energy, and Member of the newly formed Council of National Energy.
Commissioner Brendan Carr will be Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Former Congressman Sean Duffy, from the Great State of Wisconsin, is nominated to serve as the Secretary of Transportation.
