Tonight, Monday, December 2, the members of Patriots for Liberty & Constitution will be discussing Federalist Paper 40.
The group meets starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evenings at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello.
The event notes read:
Next Monday, we will be discussing ANTI-FEDERALIST 40 & 39.
Opponents to ratification are starting to point out that the federal government will be granted sweeping powers under the proposed new Constitution, and they are concerned about the loss of sovereignty of the individual state governments.
We are also reading The Constitution line by line. This week we will be reading Article 1, Section 5.
