Bannock County’s annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony, remembering the lives lost during the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor, will take place today, December 7, beginning at 1:00 pm at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N Johnson Avenue in Pocatello.
People are invited to wear Hawaiian shirts and to join in the tradition of tossing flower petals into the Portneuf River.
Lunch, provided by local Veterans Service Organization Auxiliaries, will be served after the ceremony at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building.
