On Monday, December 23, the members of Patriots for Liberty & Constitution will be discussing Federalist Paper 42.
The group meets starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evenings at Mountain Valley Baptist Church, 202 S. 7th Avenue in Pocatello.

THIS WEEK’S DISCUSSION:
In Federalist 42, we will be getting into the regulation of international and interstate commerce. There are many areas wrapped up this section, such as coinage of money and its exchange value, bankruptcy laws, treaties, trade agreements, and federal supremacy in these areas and why that’s important. This essay discusses naturalization and immigration which is certainly a very germane topic nowadays; and it will cover how the issue of slavery is dealt with in the Constitution.
