The Bannock County Sheriff’s Department is offering the following tips for snowplow safety this winter:
Help us keep our road crews safe this winter:
• Don’t pass the plows. The safest road is behind a plow
• Maintain at least a three-second following distance
• Make room for plows and emergency vehicles
• Drive for the conditions (go slow on ice and snow!)
• Leave early. Giving yourself extra time will make it easier to make smart decisions.
