CLARK COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police responded to a vehicle fire that occurred on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 8:22 AM, on Interstate 15 near milepost 174, north of Dubois.
A 41-year-old male, from Firth, was travelling northbound on I15 in a 2005 Subaru Forester, when the vehicle suddenly caught fire. The driver was able to safely bring the vehicle to a stop on the right shoulder and exit the vehicle without injury.
The northbound lanes were blocked for approximately one hour while Clark County Fire & Ambulance worked to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to the brush.
