UCON, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday, June 11,2025 at 12:28 p.m. on westbound US 20 at milepost 316, east of Ucon.
A 2023 Nissan Rogue was driving westbound on US 20 when it went off the right shoulder, and struck a tree. The driver, 76-year-old male, from Box Elder, South Dakota, succumbed to his injuries on scene. Both occupants were wearing seat belts and air bags deployed. The passenger, a 72-year-old female, also of Box Elder, South Dakota, was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital in Idaho Falls.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
