ID State Legislators Seek Answers from Federal Delegation about Qatari Air Force Facility at Mountain Home AFB

The Gang of 8 has sent a letter to Idaho’s congressional delegation, raising concerns about a new agreement that would allow a Qatari Air Force squadron to be based and trained at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

In the letter below, Senator Christy Zito, on behalf of the members of the Gang of 8, requests answers from Idaho’s congressional delegation regarding the scope, funding, and security implications of this agreement, and requests a formal briefing with Secretary Hegseth to provide clarity for Idahoans.
