The City of Pocatello’s Road Construction & Traffic Report for the week of October 20, 2025, has been published and may be accessed here.

Highlights include:

  • Street sweepers are currently performing their regular sweeping schedule.
  • The Street Services crew will be patching potholes and curb lines throughout the City.
  • Traffic Services crews are repainting crosswalks, arrows, and lane markings throughout the City.
  • The Water Department continues work on replacing the water mainlines on S. Arthur Ave. between W. Whitman St. and S. Main St. Crews will work between 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.
  • The Gould St. Overpass bridge will be repaired Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24.  There will be lane closures, but the overpass will remain open while work is being completed.
  • Saturday, October 25, 2025, E. Elm St. will be closed between Jefferson Ave. and Randolph Ave., from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM, for a Music Festival with local vendors, games, and food trucks.
  • Idaho State University will host its annual Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The parade will start at 1st Avenue and Center Street, travel east on Center Street, and end at 15th Avenue/Memorial Drive and MLK Jr. Way. It will run from 10:00 a.m. to approximately noon. Roads will be closed during this time. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
