The City of Pocatello’s Road Construction & Traffic Report for the week of October 27, 2025, has been published and may be accessed here.
Highlights include:
- Street sweepers are currently performing their regular sweeping schedule.
- The Street Services crew will be patching potholes and curb lines throughout the City.
- Traffic Services crews are repainting crosswalks, arrows, and lane markings throughout the City.
- The Water Department continues work on replacing the water mainlines on S. Arthur Ave. between W. Whitman St. and S. Main St. Crews will work between 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.
- Repairs continue on the Gould St. Overpass bridge. There will be lane closures, but the overpass will remain open while work is being completed.
- Booth Road will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, October 22, through Friday, October 31, while Idaho Materials and Construction installs a new sewer line.
- October 24 through November 7, 2025, S. 5th Avenue will have a lane shift while RS Jobber connects new water and sewer lines for the Idaho Division of Public Works’ new building.
- Oak Mountain Dental will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on October 30, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, so Warren Ave. will be closed to through traffic between E. Oak St. and E. Elm St.
- There will be a Neighborhood Trick or Treat event on S 7th Ave. on October 31, 2024. S 7th Ave. will be closed from E Carter St. to E. Bonneville St., between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Benton Street will remain open to through traffic – Please watch for pedestrians.
