Stand Up for Idaho (SUFI) will be hosting Benjamin Gisin on Wednesday, November 12, who will be speaking on the Federal Reserve and other economic topics. The announcement of the event reads:
Wednesday, November 12th – Benjamin Gisin, “Federal Reserve and Banking: Crashing Money Myths to Find Truth and Insight”
Ben immigrated from Basel, Switzerland to Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School and Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and served in Idaho’s National Guard as a commissioned officer with honorable discharge as a 1st Lieutenant.
After a twenty-year banking career culminating as a Senior Agricultural Credit Approval Officer for the nation’s seventh largest agricultural bank at the time (1976-1996), he began a fifteen-year career as a farm advocate helping farm families face financial challenges and negotiating many million-dollar concessions from creditors to shield clients from being financially crushed.
Ben is the author of “Farmers and Rancher’s Guide to Credit”, co-author with Susan Gisin of the syndicated column “Credit Talk”, co-publisher with Susan Gisin of “Touch the Soil” magazine, and author of “Purchasing Power, Grand Design of the Centuries” in honor of Susan Gisin.
Through career experience, lecturing, researching, and writing, Ben has accumulated over 75,000 hours of focus on our nation’s Financial System.
Ben’s presentation will include:
- A Short intro to Federal Reserve and Banking
- Crashing money myths to find truth and insights
- Why the nation has a national debt – the missing pieces we’ve been looking for
- Bring America “In the Know” about its financial self
