Our community would greatly benefit if the two mayoral candidates would agree to an OPEN MIC TOWN HALL using the following (or similar) format:
— constituents walk up to a microphone to ask a question
— 1 question per person
— both candidates get a maximum of 3 minutes to answer the question
— provide a neutral moderator to ensure civility and manage time
Why would either candidate refuse this opportunity to engage with their constituents from the start?
Who can make this happen?
